A silly recommendation

OK, y'all may not be aware of my deep, undying love for Weird Al, but I absolutely adore him. I think he's a genius. And he's got a new cd out.

I picked it up today, and have been giggling like a loon since I got home. The polka is, as usual, awesome.

I love Weird Al. I have every single CD of his, even the really early ones.

I'll be picking THAT up this weekend! I've been a Weird Al Devotee for ages. At one time, I was a member of the Weird Al fanclub. Not sure if it's a lifetime membership or what. But I love me some Weird Al!

As if I didn't already love you, I too am obsessed with Weird Al. I think he's freakin' brilliant - have you heard him do the Star Wars saga to American Pie? So good... Polka on!

I gotta tell you, we caught him on the tonight show last year or early this year playing Tamborine for Ben Folds of all people, and it was probably one of the funniest things I've seen on TV EVER! I had "eat it" on 45 back in the 80's...

I am a huge Weird Al fan too. I'm surprised to see this many women who are fans - when I saw him a few years ago I felt like I was the oldest person there (most were teenage boys) and one of the few women.

Oh how I wish he would have married me too, but being a big celebrity I'm sure he had his pick of tall, thin, gorgeous Hollywood types.

Al has said that he has to "reinvent himself" every time he puts out a new album because people think he's gone away but basically he's just putting out as much music as other people do.

I love the new album. My favorites have always been his polka medleys. Of course I'm a polka fan too!
